Valutec hires new constructor

Valutec further strengthen the capacity of the construction department and has hired Anton Burman.
Anton has extensive experience in construction which means that we are very pleased to now be able to hire him.
Anton joined the company in the beginning of June and we wish him welcome.
Progressive kilns to Norway

Valutec has been trusted to deliver new channels to Haslestads Bruk in Hof, about 70 km south of Oslo.
It is two channels of FB type, built in stainless steel and where one is built for boards and one for planks.
The channels are equipped with pressure frames, external lubrication and heat recovery of type air/liquid to obtain a low energy consumtion.
Each channel can accommodate 18 carts with a total of 54 packages and will have a total length including shelter roof of over 80 meters.
Commissioning is scheduled for December 2010.
SIA Vika Wood invests in new kilns

One of Latvias biggest sawmill, SIA Vika Wood outside Talsi, about 70 miles west of Riga will invest in new kilns to increase their capacity.
Valutec will build four batch kilns and one progressive kiln, all in stainless steel.
The batch kilns will be used for plank and hold 28 packages.
The progressive kiln, of type one-zone, will be used for boards, hold 39 packages and will be equipped with vertical doors.
The capacity will be over 30 000 m3/year for the batch kilns and over 20 000 m3/year for the progressive kiln.
With these included Vika will have over 30 kilns.
Start up is scheduled to the beginning of 2011.
