Basic training in lumber drying

Valutec’s basic training in lumber drying is aimed at future kiln operators, forklift drivers and others interested in learning more about lumber drying.

During the training, Valutec’s Development Manager, Thomas Wamming, guides participants through the history and fundamentals of lumber drying. Particular emphasis is placed on material science, water transport in wood, kiln types and drying processes, as well as measurement methods for quality assessment.

Lunch, dinner and an evening activity are included in the price.
