Valmatics 4.0 Advanced

The training is intended for kiln operators who have completed Valmatics 4.0 Basic.

Prerequisites: Valmatics 4.0 Basic (provided on-site at the sawmill during installation).

Through a review of the basic functions of the control system, we go through the entire menu system and the different views. We also cover control principles, drying profiles for batch and continuous kilns, as well as various parameters and settings. A strong emphasis is placed on the built-in simulator, and as a conclusion, participants will learn how to simulate a drying schedule for a new product.

Bring your own laptop to complete the exercises. Some assignments will be connected to your own sawmill, which means you need to be able to remote control your Valmatics computer. If this is not possible, Valutec provides a number of systems for remote connection. However, the best option is to arrange remote access to your own system. It is possible for several participants to share a laptop, but please note that the text can become small on a laptop screen and it may be difficult for many to follow along at the same time.
